Before you say “what a lovely spiral staircase” – Stop! It is not a spiral staircase, but a ‘helical staircase’ (the main difference is that spiral staircases have a central column). It rises towards the dome at the top of the building and links to the first, second and third floors. The murals on the way up show various key scenes from the history of magic.
